Everything I create is rooted in heritage — decades of watching fish movement, studying species‑specific patterns, and understanding how color behaves in water. That long practice guides both the materials I choose and the way each piece is built.

Surfaces: Cotton Rag, Canvas & Linocut Paper

Premium 100% Cotton Rag Watercolor Paper

Museum‑grade, acid‑free, archival. It preserves layered washes with clarity and supports the subtle transitions found in trout patterning and the refined palettes of state heritage.

Canvas

Selected for strength, warmth, and its ability to support larger, more cinematic compositions. Canvas allows color to sit differently — ideal for expansive trout studies and bold heritage pieces.

Linocut Paper (Archival, Acid‑Free)

Durable, crisp, and designed for clean ink transfer. It carries the heritage of traditional printmaking while supporting both trout‑pattern imagery and state‑based symbolic work.

Trout Series

Drawn from the colors, symbols, and quiet histories each state carries. Linocuts and watercolor pieces translate state heritage into a modern, architectural visual language.

Bleed & Borders

Prints include a clean white border that varies slightly by size. This breathing room is part of the design, giving both trout‑pattern work and heritage compositions space to sit comfortably in any interior.

Signature

Originals, prints, and linocuts are signed quietly in the lower right corner — present but restrained, a mark of authorship that never competes with the imagery or the heritage it carries.

Framing

Frames are natural wood with shatter‑resistant acrylic glazing, chosen for their warmth, neutrality, and ability to support the artwork without distraction. The goal is to let both trout and heritage pieces speak clearly in modern interiors.

Care & Handling
